Two-year-old boy drowns in Co Waterford

first_img Watch: The Nine Til Noon Show LIVE Pinterest WhatsApp Google+ Facebook Man arrested in Derry on suspicion of drugs and criminal property offences released A two-year-old boy has died after drowning in Co Waterford.It happened on a beach in the village of Boatstrand at about 7 o’clock yesterday evening.It’s believed a number of people were on the beach at the time and a nurse who was at the scene tried to resuscitate the child.Gardaí arrived at the scene shortly afterwards – and the boy was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
