The Harvard Gay and Lesbian Caucus (HGLC) is encouraging all current full-time students at Harvard to apply for the HGLC Public Service Fellowship, made possible with support from The Open Gate Foundation.The fellowship is a one-time grant of $5,000, and is given to an individual to educate, organize, or otherwise benefit the GLBT community during the summer of 2010. The work can be independent or within an existing nonprofit organization. The winner will be notified by the end of April and will be required to submit a final report to HGLC by Oct. 15. Tipp senior footballers are hoping to put the disappointment of the Roscommon defeat behind them this weekend.They travel to Cusack Park in Ennis to take on Clare in the third round of the National Football League.Clare have yet to win a game in Division 2, clocking up a loss and a draw – while Tipp won their opener against Cork. Jack Kennedy says he’s hopeful they’ll get the result.
