They immediately bonded and became best buddies. Wilbur didn’t own a television set, but enjoyed western movies and listening to talk radio. According to his daughter, he loved to cook and by all accounts made the best homemade salsa. He also liked traveling the country sightseeing and had a knack for making each trip an adventure. He is survived by his daughter Juanita Jackson of Poynette, Wisconsin; sister Sandra Loza of Camp Verde, Arizona; brother Lee Roy Jackson of New River, Arizona and his granddaughter Katherine Jackson. He is preceded in death by his parents. Wilbur’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will hold a reception at a later date.
