The presentation was made at a Presentation of Awards evening in the Radisson Blu Hotel.The Ladies GAA Team who are the Winners of the Team Award in LyIT, picturesd are Aine Higgins, Rose Mannering, Sarah Faulkner, Shannon Maxwell, Arlene Gallagher and Leah Kerrigan, in the back row are Eamon O’Boyle, Gemma Glackin, Paul Hannigan, President LyIT, Rebekah Mooney, Dara Kelly, Niamh Rhatiga and Paddy Gallagher, Sports Officer LYIT.The Board of Irish Colleges Societies (BICS) is the next stopping point for the winning members of the LYIT Clubs and Societies awards which were presented on Thursday 19 March to a packed house in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny.The Most Outstanding Club Member was presented to Isobel Keenan, Canoe Club, LyITBest Society in Civic, Charity and Community Engagement Award went to the Android App Society Leadership Award went to Katy Murphy, a member of the Gaisce Society.Best Society 2015 Award also went to the Gaisce Society.Also on the evening, Clubs and Societies Scholarships the value of €1,000 were awarded to 8 worthy student applicants.Adam Crossan, LGBT Society, Denis Bourne, Android App Society, Gearoid Maguire, Android App, Aoife Mc Grory, Public Speaking Society, Isobel Keenan, Gaisce Society, John Mc Clean, Gardening Club, Michael Carroll, Public Speaking Society and Paulius Karbauskas, Android App Society.
